Childhood friends Tim Watson and David Gustafson have long found business success serving overlooked market niches with solutions that deeply understand customers’ pain points. Their latest venture, SMART Logistics, uses IoT technology to track and monitor a manufacturer’s “reusable packaging” – think of the pallets, racks and containers that a product ships on. These assets can be highly specialized, expensive and they spend a lot of time outside of a company’s facilities, making them prone to loss.
SMART first retained Sheepdog in a fractional marketing capacity in 2018 and we continue to work together several years later.
